OUR BACKGROUND

Ms. Ashley has been teaching early childhood music classes and working as a music therapist since graduating with a Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy in 2005!  Ashley completed her music therapy internship at New Hanover Regional Center in 2005.  Upon completion of her internship, she went on to work for a private practice as a music therapist, Kindermusik teacher, and an early childhood music teacher.  Eventually Ashley opened her own practice contracting all over Atlanta as a music therapist Kindermusik teacher, and an early childhood music teacher until her husband’s job moved her family out to Ft. Worth, TX.  In 2016 Ashley opened up her home studio, Music and Movement with Ms. Ashley, and hasn’t looked back!  All 3 of her kiddos have been a part of her home classes as well as many kiddos in the Ft. Worth area.  Ms. Ashley plays the flute, piano, guitar, ukulele, and many rhythm instruments although the flute is her instrument of specialty!  Ms. Ashley can’t wait to bring the magic of music alive to your child soon!
